What a loot deal actually is

A loot deal is a price that is unusually low for that exact product, not simply a large percentage off the printed MRP. The two things are very different. MRP is the maximum retail price printed on the box, and many sellers list an inflated MRP so that an ordinary price looks like a massive discount. A real loot deal is low compared with what the product has actually sold for in recent weeks.

Red flags that usually mean the deal is not real

Understand why loot deals disappear

Loot prices are often caused by a pricing error, a limited stock offer, or a short promotion funded by the brand. Stock can finish in minutes and orders at a mistaken price can be cancelled by the seller. That is why we always tell you to treat the store page as the final word and to avoid planning around a deal that you have not yet paid for.

A simple rule for buying fast

Decide your target price before the sale starts. Keep the product on a wishlist, note its normal selling price, and only buy when the price meets your target. This stops impulse buying, which is the real reason fake discounts work. If you want alerts the moment a price falls, join our Telegram channel and keep notifications on.

Where our own deals fit in

On this site every deal carries its MRP, its current price and a short note. We try to say when a price is the lowest we have tracked and we add the date the prices were checked. Prices can still change after we publish, so look at today's loot deals as a shortlist and not a guarantee.

Frequently asked questions

Is a high discount percentage a good sign?

Not by itself. A high percentage can come from an inflated MRP. Compare the price with the product's own recent price history and with other stores before deciding.

Can a seller cancel my order on a loot deal?

Yes. If a price was a listing error or stock ran out, sellers can cancel and refund. Do not make plans that depend on the order until it ships.

Which products have the most fake discounts?

Fashion, accessories and small electronics often show large MRPs that few people ever paid. These are exactly the categories where checking price history helps the most.
